First time

Another (Romanian) text that I wrote joins the list today: it’s called “Prima oară” (Romanian for “First time”). The three pictures are taken out of my photo collection (of course, I edited them a bit).

Feel free to comment on the text here.

Enjoy! :)

Sophora Japonica

A new text with a Japanese theme joins the list of “public” texts that I wrote – the text is called “Sophora Japonica“.

A quick background for the text: Sophora japonica – otherwise known as the Chinese Scholar-Tree, or the Japanese Pagoda Tree, and translated as “salcâm japonez” in Romanian – is an acacia tree native to eastern Asia (mainly China; despite the name, it is introduced in Japan). It is quite a popular ornamental tree in Europe and North America, grown for its white flowers, borne in late summer after most other flowering trees have long finished flowering.

The intro quote is a traditional haiku I happen to like a lot, and the picture to the right of the text is an origami paper crane figure I made myself.

Enjoy the text! :)

New text

I’ve published another (Romanian) text on my website. It’s called “Cristale de cea??“. Enjoy!

And another text…

This one is written in Romanian again. You can read it here: Cine sunt eu?

Have fun reading it! I know I did writing it. :)

A spring morning

A few days ago, I wrote another (short) text. It wasn’t public at first, but today I added it to the Texts page. It’s called A Spring Morning. Enjoy! :)

A new text!

As a fairly recent endeavour, I’ve decided to take on writing again. I actually wrote a new text yesterday morning (unfortunately for some visitors of my site, the text is written in Romanian). You can find a link to “O poveste cu furnicu?e” somewhere at the bottom of the Texts page.

Finished with the texts

After a 3-hour-hardcore-copy/paste job, with some editing and formatting, I’ve managed to transfer all my texts from the old version of the site to the new one. I hope you enjoy reading (some of) them as much as I enjoyed writing (all of) them… :)
